“Handbell Music Avenue”

To help schools and organisations learn more about handbell instruments, we have launched the “Handbell Music Avenue” Handbell Instrument Experience Programme. Through a short course centred on handchimes, music beginners get hands-on experience with this unique instrument and enjoy the fun of handbell ensemble playing!

Short-term Training ‧ Effective Experience

This is an entry-level track designed for students with no prior experience.

Guidance from Professional Tutors

Led by experienced handbell tutors, so students of all abilities can learn about handbells properly and enjoy playing them.

No Need to Buy Instruments

All instruments and teaching materials are provided free of charge by the Academy. Schools only need to arrange the time and venue.

Flexible Scheduling

Choose suitable dates as needed to hold the activity “during lessons” or “after school”, fitting easily with music lessons, extracurricular activities, arts education or school-based activities.

Basic Skills Training

Learn basic playing posture and simple ensemble techniques to build correct playing concepts

Simple Song Practice

Students are guided to play simple pieces, experiencing ensemble results in a short time and feeling the sense of achievement of making music as a team.

Handbell Music Appreciation

By listening to different types of handbell music, students learn more about the handbell’s tone, performance formats and artistic features, broadening their musical horizons.
